Summary: The Director of Strategy and Operations will provide Project Management expertise and strategic leadership of key Initiatives within the Clinical Affairs Functional Units, including Clinical Development, Clinical Development Operations, Pharmacovigilance, HEOR, Collaborative and Late Stage Research, and Scientific Communications. This position will provide direction, oversight and coordination of complex activities within Clinical Affairs portfolio(s) and functions including budget and strategic resource management support to the SVP, Clinical Affairs Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Serve as key partner to the SVP Clinical Affairs by leading the development of key tactical and operational plans to meet corporate and department goals 2. Partner with Functional Heads and provide project management and operational cross functional expertise to give clear direction across functions and enable respective teams to function efficiently including: a) Represent SVP as deputy for specific financial and operational issues and/or as meeting delegate 3. Partner with SVP/Functional Heads and Finance to plan and manage budgets, including: 4. Drive innovation and efficiencies that contribute to further streamlining the way teams work within Clinical Affairs and cross-functionally 5. Support Ad hoc projects based on capacity and priority Supervisory Responsibilities: Interaction: The position works most closely with Clinical Development, Clinical Development Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Collaborative and Late Stage Research, HEOR and Scientific Communications teams, as well as Regulatory, Program Management, Medical Affairs, Biometrics, Quality, Market Access, Marketing and Finance colleagues, consultants and vendors to assure timely and effective strategic oversight of Clinical Affairs operations. Qualifications Education and Experience: * Bachelor Degree is required (preference for Sciences), advanced degree preferred (MS, MPA, MPH, MBA, MD, PharmD) Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Track record of excellent, proactive stakeholder management skills Physical Demands: Work Environment: This is a hybrid office-based position located in Parsippany, NJ Benefits Benefits:
