TEKsystems' client in the Buffalo, NY area is currently looking for multiple technicians to join their IT team on a contract basis!! Below are details and requirements for the role. Description Job Description: Working as part of a small team of technicians to execute an inventory assessment. The team will perform a physical inventory and document key data elements for End User devices and printers. The work will be performed at multiple locations in the great Buffalo area. Responsibilities include: Walk thru departments to locate equipment. Gather inventory data and enter inventory spreadsheet. Identify and document any missing equipment. Identify and document found equipment not listed in client inventory sheet. Document location of equipment and room setup on floor plans. Assist team lead provide & guide assistance to less experienced team members. Report any access issues to team lead. Collaborate with teammates and team lead to complete daily schedule and limit disruption to hospital environment. Work will be performed during normal business hours, but flexibility to work overtime during week or Saturday. Have own Transportation to get to assigned location each day (May be asked to visit multiple sites in a day) Skills Asset management, Asset inventory, Inventory, Hardware, Reporting, Inventory management, Support, endpoint Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications: 2+ years of experience Experience working on a project team. (Plus) Prior experience working in Hospital or Healthcare Strong customer service and verbal communications skills Experience using and updating data MS Excel Technical knowledge of End User Devices, Printers, etc. Detail Oriented and ability to follow a detailed set of instructions on process to follow, data to gather, etc. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
