Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor of Sunset Park Dental - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Perform duties that ensure the efficient functioning of the dental clinical area and ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to clinical workflows to ensure that patients (in real time) are receiving care in a timely manner
- Maintain clinical logs/manuals to ensure compliance
- Manages facility issues in the clinic area
- Works with vendors to schedule maintenance of clinic equipment and maintains logs
- Works with Administrative Manager, Attendings and Residency Program Leadership to ensure clinical guidelines are communicated compliance is tracked.
- Supervise, evaluate and train Dental Assistants (includes annual competencies in radiographic and laboratory techniques).
- Order, maintain inventory of dental equipment and supplies using the inventory management system as well as monitoring preventative maintenance and useful life practices.
- Maintains overall compliance to all clinical policies and procedures concerning infection control, environments of care and sterilization.
- Create and maintain weekly and daily assistant schedule to ensure proper coverage for all clinical sessions. Chairside assignments of dental assistants on a daily basis and weekly task assignments.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring and evaluation of dental assistant staff.
- Manage and maintain laboratory cases and adherence to the laboratory protocol.
- Responsible for the continued readiness of the dental clinic to be in compliance with DOH, Joint Commission and EPA standards.
- Participates in all rounding of regulatory bodies.
- Compliance with hospital, health center and department policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in medical or dental field required
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Mastery of: Microsoft (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Licensed Dental Assistant or Licensed Dental Hygienist

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
