GIS Intern

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for limited-term, full-time GIS intern starting in May/June 2025 and ending in August/September 2025. Responsibilities include supporting the GIS team in carrying out deliverables for GIS projects; conducting research; creating designs for GIS datasets, maps and applications; gathering, transforming and analyzing GIS datasets.

Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in geographic information systems, environmental science, geography or urban planning.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• ArcGIS Systems (ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online)
• Geodatabases and generation of spatial datasets
• Performing industry research and providing concise documentation of findings
• Pursuing a degree in GIS at a junior or senior level
