KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Segment Vice President of HR, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will act as both a strategic and tactical HR partner for multiple corporate client groups - Operations, Finance, IT, Legal, and HR, working directly with key leaders to support their departmental strategy in all aspects of HR. The HRBP will partner with a variety of HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), such as Talent Acquisition/Development, Benefits, Compensation, HR Communications, and the HR Project Management Office to support their respective client groups.

Specifically, this person will:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition team to support corporate recruitment.
  • Act as a consultant to leaders on organizational design and effectiveness.
  • Manage global employment matters within the assigned client group including visa/immigration, relocation, and employment compliance matter in conjunction with the Global Benefits team and external counsel.
  • Design and deploy talent development strategies to create a strong internal pipeline of future leaders.
  • Respond to complex questions and concerns from employees in regard to human resources programs and services; resolve questions, concerns and work with management regarding a variety of employee matters.
  • Participate on special projects within HR and cross-functionally within the Dover Corporate team.
  • Identify insightful key performance indicators, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged, inclusive and fun corporate culture through your own personal leadership and by developing and deploying engagement initiatives.
  • Facilitate a variety of annual processes for the Corporate team, such as performance, compensation, and talent review.
  • Facilitate a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires.
  • Counsel employees and/or managers as needed on a variety of issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new corporate employment policies as needed.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field, master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, including demonstrated success acting in a business partner capacity in a corporate environment
  • Experiencein supporting a diverse client group across multiple locations.
  • Prior experience working with international employment/labor matters.
  • Strong business acumen and solid understanding of company strategy, business and competitive positioning.
  • Proven ability to coach, advise, and collaborate with senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and HR issues.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
