The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a FT - Overnight Security Supervisor to join our amazing Security Team! **Hours: Overnight - 11pm - 7:30am - shifts including weekends and holidays** **Summary of Benefits**
The Overnight Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Resort, its guests, visitors, and Team Members, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees security operations while also protecting and enforcing rules with professionalism and composure, effectively handling emergencies, misconduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Knowledge of local area and transportation systems helpful. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Participate in company events. Clean office and exterior Security area. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Customer Satisfaction: Our customers are what we are about.
