Cognizant is a Large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to improve a variety of business operations. As our team continues to grow, we are currently looking to hire additional Teams Leads. This role is On Site, and all candidates must reside in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Autonomous Vehicle Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent cognitive abilities, and experience with autonomous vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Analyze critical situations and human behavior through simulations.
  • Create and ensure high-quality test scenarios.
  • Handle high-profile, sensitive internal escalations.
  • Perform tools debugging and investigate root causes.
  • Meet defined SLAs and handle technical issues.
  • Complete semi-technical investigations and master internal debugging tools.
  • Participate in ad-hoc tasks/special projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Technologically savvy and quick learner of technical products.
  • Strong familiarity with Google products (e.g., Chrome, Docs, Trix).
  • Knowledge of Autonomous Vehicle lifecycle, radar, video, LiDAR, and sensor technologies.
  • Expert knowledge in computer vision, environmental modeling, and sensor fusion.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and testing perception functions/scenarios for AVs.
  • Experience with automotive systems, communication protocols (LAN/CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Knowledge of ARM/Neon, GPU, GP-GPU.
  • Basic knowledge of debugging.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in B2B or B2C environments.
  • Broad understanding of driving laws/lane guidelines/traffic signals.
  • Proactively identify issues and suggest improvements.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and public holidays.
  • Experience with automotive simulation software (nice to have).

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 21st, 2025.

The hourly rate for this position is between $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
