The Senior Electrified Component Project lead will be responsible for the activities related to Power Electronics components (i.e. inverters, converters and charging devices) designs and development. This position requires the candidate to follow corporate Technology Readiness Level (TRL) process, ensure and document aligned requirements, make assessment on the technology; it also entails working with Stellantis (STLA) internal production team, power electronics suppliers, and testing labs to ensure requirements and specifications are followed, as well as industry best practice design features and processes, are implemented. This position requires design experience, understanding of component hardware circuitry and failure modes, and understanding the manufacturing process. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation outlining best practices supporting STLA internal continuous improvement initiatives and the development of product technology roadmaps.
