Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer, EIT for our client in West Palm Beach, FL! We are seeking qualified candidates with: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field A strong drive for professional growth and development A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment and take on new challenges! Here's what you'll do: Performs moderate analysis and design tasks involving design calculations and sketches of plans. Prepares portions of project documents and edits specifications. Performs research and investigations. Reviews environmental documents. Participates at various meetings with city, county and other governmental and private entities. Performs duties on small projects or portions of larger projects at the same time. Assist in prioritizing and scheduling projects, determining work requirements to complete project plans, and coordinates scheduling to accommodate projects already underway. Reviews construction site to monitor progress. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned. Position Type: Direct Placement Pay: Up to $75K/yr. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, or other related Engineering field. Preferred Skills / Qualifications:** Knowledge of applicable engineering theory, methods, and practices, with the ability to apply sound engineering principles to the solution of technical problems. An understanding of water treatment/distribution, wastewater collection/treatment and storm water/water resources principles and state regulations is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCad. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated capability to meet project budget and deadlines.
