This role oversees repairs, preventative maintenance, and compliance with safety standards, ensuring seamless operations across our world-class culinary spaces. In a fast-paced, high-energy environment, the Kitchen Shop Facilities Manager plays a vital role in keeping the heart of our kitchens thriving. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Facility Oversight: Manage daily operations of the kitchen shop, overseeing maintenance technicians and prioritizing repairs for hot and cold equipment across restaurant and kitchen properties. Team Leadership: Supervise maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and team engagement to ensure efficient operations. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee preventative maintenance programs, ensuring timely inspections, repairs, cleaning, and replacements to minimize downtime. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and federal health, safety, and building codes while maintaining accurate records of department activities and compliance documentation. Resource Management: Monitor utility consumption, manage inventory levels, and oversee purchasing of parts, tools, and equipment to maintain property standards. Operational Support: Provide occasional back-shift coverage and assist in executing departmental strategies aligned with company goals and budget objectives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Age: Must be at least 21 years old. Work Schedule: Available to work between 6am and 4pm, including weekends and holidays. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role or relevant technical field. Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and overseeing the operation of commercial hot and cold kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
