Summary As a CAPB Latenight Programming Chair you are a key component in curating experiences for the Mizzou student body. You have the ability to bring new, innovative programming to campus as well as define what traditions look like here at the University of Missouri. In this position you will be supporting the campus community and bringing the student interest to life. In this leadership position, you will have a deeper connection to the campus community and will develop skills that will benefit you beyond your time at Mizzou. The ideal CAPB Latenight Programming Chair approaches every aspect of event coordination - from brainstorming to late night setup - with enthusiasm and a can-do spirit. Whether you're coordinating with vendors, managing event logistics, or welcoming attendees, your upbeat attitude will be key to our success. CAPB expects students to attend fall training in addition to events that take place during Welcome Week. These dates will be provided. There will also be evening and weekend work that is often expected, as events fall throughout the year. Essential Functions

$15 per hour, paid on a biweekly basis Shift
As a chair member you will be required to hold 6 office hours throughout the week. These hours should be held Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. You may disperse these hours as they fit in your schedule. You must attend all events put on by your committee, as well as support other committees as fits your schedule. Any required events scheduled that month are also mandatory as well. You will have the opportunity to work events as shown in the worker docs sent out at the beginning of each month through a signup process. Your schedule is dictated by you and what works best for you, unless otherwise stated by pro staff/mandatory events. This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule. Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for a student title, an individual must be enrolled at the University of Missouri. Enrollment in the summer session is not required if the student was enrolled in the Spring semester and is pre-enrolled for the Fall semester. Selection is contingent upon results of a review with the Office of Institutional Equity, Office of Student Accountability & Support, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, previous MU appointment history, and reference checks.
