Human Resources Information Systems Administrator (Workday)

Job Summary

The Human Resources Information Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting HCM functional areas in Workday, such as Core HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Integrations, and Report Writing.

This role will serve as a point of contact for HR Business Partners, gathering requirements, testing solutions, and conducting impact analysis. The role will also act as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.

This position will be remote, with preference near one of our corporate or regional offices in San Diego, CA, Irving, TX, Arlington, VA, Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, SF Bay Area, CA, Charlotte, NC, Bellevue, WA, Fort Lauderdale, FL, or Boston, MA.

Reports to: Senior Director Human Resources Information Systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Workday Configuration and Implementation:

    • Configure, test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday.

    • Review and analyze system configurations and procedures, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement standard system processes across business sites.

  • Knowledge Management:

    • Develop internal knowledge base and process documentation.

  • Collaboration and Support:

    • Work closely with HR business units and provide first-level assistance in process improvement, problem-solving, and report design.

    • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing of Workday integrations.

  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Technology, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

  • Workday certified training in HCM, Report Writing, Business Process, and Integrations.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of HRIS experience.

  • 2-4 years of Workday technical and functional support experience.

  • Workday configuration experience with knowledge of business processes and reporting.

  • Workday external vendor integrations experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Impeccable integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.

  • Organized, detail oriented, and quality driven.

  • Strong organizational and process management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and complete deliverables under critical timelines.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual base salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

* Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
