Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader with deep Development & Quality Assurance experience to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality and engineering for our software products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a hybrid team of developers and quality assurance engineers in a hybrid onsite/remote environment, optimizing technical design and driving quality best practices across our agile/scrum development environment. Key Responsibilities: * Mentor and guide assigned Developer and QA team members, fostering a culture of development quality and process excellence, ownership and continuous professional skill growth * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage effective practices throughout the development lifecycle. Support IT colleagues in Delivery and Product leadership, as well as business & operations leaders * Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies for complex software systems. Drive the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks * Participate in design analysis and code review opportunities and provide constructive feedback to development teams * Maintain awareness of emerging trends and capabilities in technology, quality assurance and testing Desired Skills and Qualifications: * Excellent communication, leadership and team skills, with experience engaging both with individual contributors and executive level leadership * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, Masters degree preferred * 7+ years of experience, with increasing responsibilities in software development & quality engineering, with a deep understanding of software solution delivery disciplines and methodologies * Hands-on experience across a breadth of IT functions, such as architectural design, SecDevOps, project management/delivery. An engaged style of leadership, striving to put teams in the best position to succeed. * Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques and related tools (e.g., qTest, Tosca ,Selenium, UFT , Junit, TestNG) * Experience with cloud-based development practices, processes, and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) * Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies and their application in QA processes * Experience with Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) practices and principles * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to think creatively and apply logical reasoning to complex problems * Experience with performance testing, security testing, and API testing tools ( e.g., NeoLoad, Postman, Ready API) is a plus * Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS) are beneficial but not required All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
