Pay Rate: $27.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated area and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter potential security-related incidents through visible presence and proactive engagement.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have an Armed Handcuff certification.
• Must have an Armed Pepper certification.
• Acknowledgement of Firearms handling is required.
• Must possess an Armed Sidearm certification.
• Armed Designation is required for this position.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• California Armed Security Professional License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
