Skills and Qualifications



  • A bachelor's or advanced degree in business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with independent registered investment advisor or broker-dealer and in an operations/client service management role
  • Possess or is willing to obtain a Series 65 license
  • Knowledge of financial services and Schwab systems
  • Technologically savvy (specifically in Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and leadership skills



Financial Operations Manager Job Duties



  • Evaluate performance and conduct 1:1 meetings with team members.
  • Ensure resources and training needs for team members are in order.
  • Manage daily tasks based on priority.
  • Facilitate communication between advisors and the operations team.
  • Be part of the onboarding process for new employees (hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews, salary recommendations, performance improvement plans, terminations, etc.)
  • Oversee the planning of team-building events and activities.
  • Ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Review expenses at least monthly and discuss budget report observations with the CEO.
  • Provide quarterly reports and fee billings that are accurate.
  • Implement new compliance procedures as needed.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with compliance consultants.



Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Salary | $90,000 - $160,000
