About the Role:
In the role of RDM, you will be responsible for the maintenance management aspects for the UGP. You will work in collaboration with the UGP Manager and the RMT in order to guarantee the maintenance expected performances (time, cost), while managing relationships with other relevant stakeholders. The RDM will need to be technically sound, as well having strong critical thinking and judgement; and very good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Maintenance Budget
* Manages, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the maintenance budget proposal, gathering all needed information from the UGP Manager, and participates to its management during the fiscal year, evaluating actual vs budget gap analysis and its impact
* Collaborates with Maintenance Manager, TDM and RMT in elaborating investment budget proposals and monitoring related spend Maintenance Design
* Supports the TDM in defining failure data analysis methods and auto-maintenance (production routine maintenance) application scope
* Participates, with TDM and RMT, to the analysis of failure information and line stops causes data
* Responsible for Predictive Maintenance planning (PM frequency) in collaboration with the TDM
* Develop and maintain work instruction manuals and SOP's pertaining to machinery and equipment Maintenance Planning
* Makes the preventive and predictive maintenance plan, verifying equipment's' availability, other Production needs and maintenance resources availability (with RMT)
* Consolidates, in conjunction with UGP Manager, the maintenance activity plan during main shutdowns, considering also postponed activities and/or improvement activities and verifying equipment's' availability in the respect of production program
* Monitor the maintenance plan progress Maintenance Intervention Scheduling
* Prepares the weekly / daily maintenance intervention plan, checking resources availability (together with RMT and Lead Hand) and considering shifting / postponing options
* Identifies corrective actions basing on the equipment efficiency analysis, together with TDM
* Auto maintenance: evaluates the opportunity to allocate some maintenance activities to the production personnel, control the transfer process and evaluates related outcomes
Main Responsibilities:
Maintenance Execution
* Collects, analyses and shares among maintenance team maintenance best practices, in collaboration with TDM and RMT
* Supports the job progress monitoring (internal interventions, actual vs planned) and defines correctives actions to manage issues
* Monitoring: cooperates with Technical Maintenance, to define related KPIs
* Maintenance practices: collects and analyzes maintenance related practices for machinery & equipment and machineries, in order to standardize across the company Contractor Management
* Manages external contractors' work execution (scope of work preparation, quotation request and comparison, done with Purchasing, site access authorization, job progress monitoring, supplier evaluation, commissioning report), for investments related activities done on production lines
* Ensure current WSIB insurance is available to H&S Department prior to start of any work
* Ensure before work commences that appropriate Ferrero policies are reviewed and signed off by all contractors that are to work onsite
* Post work must comply with GMP's including scrap removal and notification to UGP about any cleaning and sanitizing requirements upon work completion Documentation Management
* Assists with technical drawing updates
* Supports the RMT in managing the documents archive
* Assists with the obsolete machine / parts removal from store / assets register
* Regulations and procedures: fills in the forms related to certification systems Management of materials, tools, equipment
* Guarantees the non-codified materials requisition for purchasing preparation for new investment related activities
* Manages the store items replenishment requisition signing for UGP specific items
* Determines stores items (codification) under Maintenance Manager responsibility New Projects
* Collaborates, together with Maintenance Team on new project design, implementation and costs management
* In collaboration with the Technical Purchasing Department, prepares RFQ for negotiations
* Oversees the technical project management of new investments, also monitoring costs, time, results
* Responsible for creating Assets Requisitions in collaboration with Finance Department
* Requirements definition: collects and analyzes requests for machinery & equipment variation, renewal and/or substitution of single parts, performing a first feasibility study in accordance with UGP/Maintenance
* In collaboration with DSTI, assures the supervision of the project is correctly installed Continuous Improvement
* Identifies potential improvement areas for the maintenance system and equipment performances
Who we are looking for:
* Extensive knowledge of Ferrero product technology, process and food sector;
* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance;
* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
* Knowledge of maintenance strategies and processes
* Project Management of large-scale maintenance projects
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
* Knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel), Autocad, SAP
* 5+ years of experience in Production/Maintenance considered a strong asset
* Strong written and oral communication skills, conveying information effectively and influencing
* Critical Thinking, sound judgment and decision-making skills
