- This position is responsible for distributing patches to company-owned assets, including server and operations systems and all third-party software.
- Responsible for reporting the status of distribution and compliance levels to management.
- Perform activities needed to support client internal control and NERC Audits.
- Assist business areas with the submission of mitigation plans.
- Contact the SMEs for compliance, Siemens, and OSI systems every second week to determine if security patches have been released.
- Condense, as necessary, the list of patches to be reviewed at each meeting to save evaluation time.
- Coordinate with the support staff and application owners to evaluate patches.
- Track and record the date security patches were received, assessed, implemented, or mitigated.
- Ensure that patching processes are documented accurately and actions comply with client policies.
- Utilize automated software tools to evaluate applicable patches and report status.
- Work with SME's to apply patches to applicable devices consistent with procedures.
- Ensure patch activities are tracked and approved within the configuration management process.
- Ensure operational constraints are respected when conducting patch activities.
- Escalate to IT Management when patches are in danger of missing the deadline or mitigations have been extended.
- Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives, including process modeling and flowcharts.
- Assists with collecting information related to system outages to identify the root cause of problems.
- Assist with special reports and projects.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Perform releases and upgrades of the production environment outside of business hours.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Linux Server and Windows Server.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Apache Tomcat, Systems Administration.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management or Mathematics.
- HTML.
- IBM FileNet Content Manager.
- IBM WebSphere.
- JavaServer Pages (JSP).
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Experience managing the IBM ECM suite of tools, including Filenet and Websphere.
- Experience in support of a technical environment.
- Familiarity with generating automated metrics to measure service.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
