Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical support to users, record reported system issues, analyze and identify root causes, recommend solutions, fix issues, provide status updates to users, and provide regular incident reports and updates to management
  • Has experience in SQL database open connection development. Can provide guidance to internal R & D team members on the integration between internally developed applications and security systems
  • Coordinate with the security system vendor to ensure that the vendor resolves unresolved issues raised by the internal R & D team in a timely manner. Regularly record issues and provide status updates to management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the security system vendor. Attend regular meetings with the security system vendor as needed
  • Regularly conduct system health checks to ensure that the security system operates safely, stably, and efficiently worldwide
  • Upgrade applications and systems according to supplier recommendations to ensure that the version used complies with standard operations. Enhance existing software functionality and develop direct system testing and verification procedures


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following majors: computer science, information technology, programming and system analysis, science (computer research)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Has excellent communication skills and good logical framework thinking ability.
  • Good at summarizing the problems found in daily work and organizing them into reports.
  • Knowledge of network construction, operation and maintenance, and/or routing infrastructure
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed security systems, with some experience in interface development
  • Experience in database, operating system, and server management and maintenance
  • Lenel Physical Security-related Applications and Systems Certification/Training
  • Experience in one or more programming languages, such as Shell and Python scripting, as well as SQL


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Candidates with experience in building or maintaining security systems for domestic internet companies are preferred
