Audiologists are the primary health-care professionals who evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage hearing loss and balance disorders in adults and children. List of Services: Diagnostic testing: Primarily adult population. Includes: comprehensive audiologic evaluations, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), QuickSIN, videonystagmography (VNG). Occasional pediatric services including Video Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA). Hearing Aid Services: Hearing Aid Demonstrations and Listening Needs Assessments, Hearing aid fitting, programming and orientation, counseling, real ear measures, routine hearing aid maintenance and repairs.
Position: Audiologist- FT 40 hours/week, will also work at Maris Grove location every other Monday. Shift: Day- 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm Completion of all graduate/doctoral level coursework, including supervised clinical practicum, 4th Year Clinical Rotation or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Hearing Aid dispensing experience. Must be proficient in Diagnostic hearing as well as hearing aids. Education: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in the hearing and balance sciences, Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Audiology Licensures & Certifications: Audiologists must be licensed for practice in Pennsylvania and maintain certification (CCC-A) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
