Allied Universal is hiring Security Officer - Tech Patrol to work at a Tech Site located in Santa Clara, Ca.

Pay Rate : $27.10 / Hour

Shift : Monday to Friday / 0800 - 1700

Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)

As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic tech/media/telecom environment. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service, fostering a secure atmosphere for all. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities.
• Collaborate with team members to address security-related incidents and support the overall security strategy of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required as per AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
