The Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer focused Vice President of Loan Services to join our team in Jefferson City, Missouri! This leadership position involves overseeing the Loan Services Department, which encompasses Loan Closing, Loan Servicing, and Loan Certification activities, all of which support loan origination and closing processes.

Title Agency knowledge is a bonus!

Subject Matter Expertise to Association Personnel & Loan Services Team
- Answers questions and provides guidance to association personnel regarding activities that impact loan closing and certification
- Leads the staff which reviews FLCA loans for loan certification
- Reviews loan documents post loan closing to determine the accuracy of title insurance policies, the legality of executed documents, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Tracks and reports status of uncertified loans and ensures follow up on those loans exceeding one year uncertified

Leadership & Training
- Selects, trains, motivates, develops and evaluates team leaders and 8 to 10 indirect reports engaged in the preparation and certification of legal real estate and commercial loan closing and servicing documents
- Assigns work and provides work guidance and direction
- Measures and reviews performance
- Positions staff for success through development activities
- Identifies training and knowledge needs of loan services, finalizing loans and other Association staff in the areas of loan documentation.
- Serves as a resource to Association staff on loan closing questions.
- Develops training materials for assigned areas
- Presents information in formal training sessions and one-on-one sessions on:
- Real estate and personal property collateral lien perfections
- Loan servicing actions
- Loan contracts and covenants
- Regulations of FCA, AgriBank, FSA, CFPB and other governmental agencies

Report Preparation
- Determines reporting requirements and develops reports to meet management needs
- Reviews prepared reports for accuracy

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in business, agriculture, or related field
- 5 years of real estate loan related experience
- 1+ year of supervisory experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Expert knowledge loan closing processes, including related documentation and closing processes
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations including consumer credit/reporting (including TRID, TIL, ECOA, FCRA, etc.), Uniform Commercial Code and statutory liens affecting real and personal property
- Skill in leading and supervising staff of loan services specialists
- Skill in focusing and concentrating on details
- Skill in interacting diplomatically with internal and external customers of various backgrounds in a high volume setting
- Oral and written communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics, and to effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
- Skill in setting priorities to reflect the importance of job responsibilities
- Skill in developing, implementing and maintaining quality control measures
- Skill in utilizing Microsoft Office to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients' data
