Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a private, non-profit, human service agency providing a variety of services throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Description Off The Square Club (OTSC) in downtown Madison is seeking a Full Time Human Service Professional! OTSC is serving Dane County adults who are living with a mental health condition. Many of the people we serve experience severe economic deprivation with incomes at or below the Federal Poverty Level. Many individuals are homeless, and often have little or no other connection to mental health services. OTSC provides CCS services and crisis services when needed and access to resources essential for daily living (meals, telephone, computer, internet-access, laundry, clothing, secure storage units, mail access, and private showers) as well as assistance in connecting with housing, medical, vocational and employment resources. Under direction, perform work involving the delivery of professional human services to individuals, families, and/or groups. This work may be completed in a variety of settings (e.g. home, school, office, community) utilizing various forms of service delivery (e.g. in-person, audio, visual) per the service plan. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: The incumbent of this position must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
