Job Title: Power Platform Architect

Location: Washington, DC

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Set up the Microsoft Power Platform/Azure AI environments and related technologies
  • Establish standards / guidelines and promote technology excellence.
  • Establish technical governance and frameworks to manage tenants' environments users & COE Kits.
  • Administer security and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate dependencies and propose DLP policies.
  • Establish communication monitoring and support methodologies.
  • Perform technical assessment to convert existing robotic process automations into MS Power Automate Desktop and lead the follow through migration opportunity.
  • Conceptualize and develop relevant use cases for client engagements: proof-of-concepts (POC) proof of value (POV) proof of technology (POT) and production deployments.
  • Lead implementation and deployments using a global delivery team.
  • Ensure flawless delivery by coordinating with business and IT teams across client.
  • Guide teams in identifying technical risk early in the process.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Citizen Developers (if needed) in using Microsoft Power Platform tools, offering advice and mentorship on standard methodologies and development techniques.
  • Lead the identification and evaluation of alternative solutions.
  • Support issue resolution and provide timely responses and solutions as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ year of experience as a Microsoft Power Platform architect and have successfully led implementations of Microsoft Power Platform programs.
  • Familiarity with one of the RPA tools and experience in assessing and migrating bots to Power Automate Desktop.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience on at least one of the programming languages (e.g. .Net, Java, VB, C#/C, HTML/CSS, Python, Web Services, mainframe, web applications, SQL, data integration tools, technical automation tools).
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components - Power Automate Desktop, Power Automate Cloud Flows, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Virtual Agent/Copilot etc.
  • Demonstrated organization skills showcasing demonstrable ability to balance multiple tasks, drive outcomes, and solve problems.
  • Exceptional client management skills and drive for results.
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 23, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 79,240 to $154,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
