Job Title: Snowflake Developer (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 9 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowpark Azure Data Lake Store Azure DevOps Python Snowflake Tasks Snowflake Streams Snowflake SQL and Snowpipe. This onsite role requires a proven technical background and the ability to work effectively in a multifaceted environment. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive our companys success

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test and maintain Python applications and scripts.
  • Design and implement data pipeline solutions using python & Snowflake stored procs.
  • Handle code repositories and perform code check-ins using GitLab.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Tackle and resolve issues related to Python applications and Snowflake data warehousing and perform validation testing.
  • Ensure code quality and maintain standard processes for version control.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience as a Python Developer.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and code check-ins.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Informatica is a plus.
  • Experience with other data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Shown experience as a Python Developer.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and code check-ins.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications Required
  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 5, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $123,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
