Senior Full Stack Developer Node,js/Angular/AWS (Hybrid) About Cognizant's Digital Engineering Practice:

The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for designing and architecting high-performance Java-based enterprise systems. They work closely with business collaborators' software developers and IT teams to create scalable secure and efficient solutions. This role involves defining architecture guidelines ensuring consistency to standard methodologies and making technology decisions to align with long-term business objectives.

Location: Mclean - VA.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Responsibilities:
  • Extensive hands on in backend end webservices/RESTAPI development using Node Js
  • Cloud experience - AWS (ECS, LAMBDA, FARGATE) is must and experience in working AWS EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM,
  • Apply programming languages like Node.js, Java, Angular. Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.
  • Leverage jquery to handling inputs and outputs from database
  • Effective Client communication
  • Should be able to work on both Backend and Frontend technologies like NodeJS and AngularJS
Required qualifications
  • Overall software development experience is 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • 6+ years of Handson experience in
  • Node.js, REST API, 12-factor microservice principles.
  • 3+ years experience in writing Node JS unit tests using Jest and Mocha
  • 2+ years of experience on Node.JS V10 version.
  • 3+ year of hands on experience in Jquery, Jscript
  • 2+ years of work experience in handling database using NodeJs.
  • 3+ years Hands on experience on AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3 and SQS
  • Experience in Agile practices.

Salary and other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 13, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
