This position will be remote within the United States.
Job Summary This role oversees impactful, large-scale programs for the Department of Defense and Government, with a focus on healthcare IT systems. You'll foster innovation, optimize operations, and improve patient care though technology solutions.
What You Will Do
- Oversee multiple, complex healthcare IT programs, setting strategies for government system development and execution
- Lead operational best practices design, creating robust scheduling, resourcing, and financial management systems
- Serve as the primary interface with senior executives, providing program status updates and supporting contract initiatives
- Oversee the development, design, integration, and delivery of large-scale healthcare IT products and sustainment services
- Serves as the primary point of contact for senior customers across government and military organizations
- Ensure program alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs
- Monitor and control project progress, adhering to goals and deadlines
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams across organizational boundaries, mentoring and developing key team members while promoting an inclusive team culture that values diverse perspectives and fosters innovation
- Manage Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality deliverables
- Direct and coordinate proposals, business plans, and work statements for healthcare IT initiatives
- Liaise with internal customers on program business and financial activities
Travel/Physical Demands
- Travel typically less than 10%
- Office environment with no special physical demands required
Qualifications
What You Will Have
- Extensive program management experience (typically 10-12 years), including demonstrated success leading and managing cross-functional teams
- Proven track record in leading complex government IT programs, consistently meeting or exceeding stringent quality standards, timeline expectations, and budget constraints
- Ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with senior government leaders to drive strategic alignment and achieve shared objectives in healthcare IT
- Experience in healthcare informatics, electronic health records, or related fields
- Excellent problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration, organizational, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Active Public Trust Security Clearance or higher is preferred. Candidates without clearance must be willing to undergo the clearance process upon receiving a job offer
Nice to Haves
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
- Experience in healthcare informatics, electronic health records, or similar
- PMP certification or similar project management credentials
The posted range for this position is$127,000 - $175,000which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
