Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PL/SQL Snowflake PySpark Generative AI Python. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can drive technical excellence and innovation. The position is a day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced technical solutions using Generative AI Python PySpark PL/SQL and Snowflake.
• Oversee the development and deployment of scalable data pipelines and machine learning models.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding testing and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver project updates.
• Ensure that all solutions align with business goals and contribute to the companys success.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Generative AI Python PySpark PL/SQL and Snowflake.
• Should have a strong understanding of data architecture and cloud technologies.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.
• Must be proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Should have a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Should have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
• Must have experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Should have a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications Required

Certified AI Professional Python Certification Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification

Maintenance: Application Expiration Date: 3/10/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
