Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10 to 12 years of experience in Delivery Management Program Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM). The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in ISV and Hi-Tech industries. This hybrid role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results. The position operates during the day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals. - Oversee project planning scheduling and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity. - Provide clear direction and support to project teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. - Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. - Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address any issues or risks. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans status reports and risk management plans. - Utilize industry best practices and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in project management processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution. - Manage project budgets ensuring financial targets are met and resources are utilized efficiently. - Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and company policies. - Mentor and guide junior project managers sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional growth. Qualifications - - Possess a strong background in Delivery Management Program Management and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM). - Demonstrate expertise in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities. - Exhibit excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams. - Showcase strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. - Display proficiency in project management tools and software with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies. - Hold a relevant certification such as PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent demonstrating a commitment to professional development.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150K to $170K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
