Location- Buffalo, NY

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect with 9+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowpark Azure Data Lake Store Azure DevOps Python Snowflake Tasks Snowflake Streams Snowflake SQL and Snowpipe. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive our companys success.

• Develop test and maintain Python applications (using M&T framework named Data Butler) and scripts.
• Design and implement data pipeline solutions using python & Snowflake stored procs.
• Manage code repositories and perform code check-ins using GitLab.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Fix and resolve issues related to Python applications and Snowflake data warehousing and perform validation testing.
• Ensure code quality and maintain best practices for version control.

• Demonstrable experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
• Proficiency in using GitLab for version control and code check-ins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of Informatica is a plus.
• Experience with other data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000- $135,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
