Santa Barbara Cottage Health seeks a Clinical Counselor for their CD Residential department responsible for facilitating group therapy, program referrals, assessments, and admissions. Coordinates with outpatient providers and patient supports networks for safe complete discharge planning. Responsibilities include:

For Cottage Residential Center only, the following are required: - Valid California Driver License. American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) or American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS). Must be licensed/registered/certified with one of the following: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) (Candidate has 90 days from hire or transfer to provide proof of AMFT designation) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) (Candidate has 90 days from hire or transfer to provide proof of ACSW designation) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist or Registered Psychology Assistant or Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor or Registered intern, with an accredited Certifying Organization approved by the State of California Healthcare Services.
