A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. Summary: The Transition Manager shall provide oversight transitioning from the incumbent from one task order to another task order.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop comprehensive transition plans outlining goals, scope, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget completion of tasks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams. Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the transition. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these challenges proactively.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee the implementation of transition plans, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Ensure all transition-related documentation is accurately maintained and updated. Conduct post-transition reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in stakeholder management and collaboration across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify challenges and develop effective solutions promptly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transition management, project management, or a similar role, preferably within federal government contracts or the defense sector.
- Experience transitioning IT support services from one contract to another.
- Experience successfully transitioning systems similar, in size and complexity, to HRC systems.
- Required to have a completed National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit (NACLC) and a SECRET clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience with correctly identifying emerging HR IT requirements and associated drivers; commercially successful HR IT products, opportunities and issues associated with HR IT custom developed and implemented solutions; and customization of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) HR Products.
- Experience with DoD HR Program objectives, mission requirements and associated DoD HR standard architectures.
- Experience with US Army personnel systems and workflow management processes.
