Overview

Element has an opportunity for a motivated, highly organized, and energetic Calibration Administrator, who will manage and oversee calibration activities. In this role you will ensure equipment is properly calibrated, maintain compliance with quality system requirements, and facilitate efficient communication with vendors and internal teams.

Salary: $24- $30/hr DOE



Responsibilities

    Ensure accuracy and compliance by reviewing calibration certifications and identifying any out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Take the lead on investigations when equipment falls out of tolerance, working closely with teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Keep operations running smoothly by coordinating the ordering of replacement parts for faulty equipment when needed
  • Stay ahead of schedules by distributing monthly lists of equipment due for calibration, ensuring timely servicing
  • Uphold quality standards by ensuring all calibration activities meet compliance and system requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships by requesting quotes, coordinating services, and overseeing the calibration process from start to finish
  • Support procurement needs by creating and processing purchase orders for calibration services
  • Be a key team player by taking on additional duties as needed to support the success of the department


Skills / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical reasoning skills; ability to perform basic functions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 45 pounds unassisted
  • An associate's degree in a technical field is plus but is not required
