Integrated Warfare Systems Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Analyst / Engineer to support the Shipboard Panoramic Electro-Optic Infrared (SPEIR) and Long Endurance Electronic Decoy (LEED) programs within PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors.

You will provide direct support to the PEO IWS 2.0 SPEIR & LEED progam's Assistant Program Managers (APMs) to ensure that Cybersecurity and Systems Security Engineering objectives are completed throughout the system acquisition lifecycle. You will be responsible for all aspects of the program's cybersecurity. You will lead efforts to bring platform information technology systems through the full life cycle of the Cyber Ready and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to achieve/renew Authority to Operate (ATO). Additional responsibilities will include ensuring that cybersecurity is integrated into program's System Engineering Technical Reviews and that all applicable cybersecurity requirements are adequately addressed, coordinating and ensuring that cybersecurity requirements have been properly allocated to support systems integration and testing, and assessing and mitigating system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle. We expect you to provide educated advice and deliverables to the level of SPA's highest quality standards-delivered on time, error-free, and suitable for the intended purpose.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range: $135 - $155k.



Qualifications

Required

    Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience providing information assurance, system security engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems security
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD cyber regulations and DoD Risk Management Framework
  • DoD Approved 8140 / DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in STEM or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Navy / US Government acquisition program office environment
  • Experience with Magic Draw/Cameo, Model-Based Systems Engineering, UML/SySML
