Head of Sales - eCommerce Logistics

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to drive rapid pipeline growth and revenue expansion within the mid-market eCommerce logistics segment. This leader will be responsible for building and executing a high-velocity sales strategy, developing new customer relationships, and driving significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain solutions to mid-market eCommerce brands, marketplaces, and omnichannel retailers. Strong people management skills and experience leading high-performing sales teams are essential.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement a scalable, high-impact sales strategy focused on rapidly expanding the mid-market customer base.
  • Pipeline Generation:Driveaggressive lead generationthrough outbound prospecting, strategic partnerships, and industry networking.
  • Customer Acquisition:Identify, engage, and convert high-potential eCommerce and DTC brands into long-term Shipwire customers.
  • Sales Leadership & Team Management:Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Go-to-Market Optimization:Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging, sales playbooks, and lead conversion strategies.
  • Market Expansion:Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and innovative sales approaches.
  • Performance & Reporting:Own sales metrics, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring transparency in pipeline health and revenue goals.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing or a technical field.
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience, with a strong track record of growing revenue in logistics, fulfillment, supply chain, or SaaS-based eCommerce solutions.
  • Proven ability to build, scale, and manage a high-performing sales teamwith a focus on new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of the eCommerce logistics ecosystem, including3PLs, 4PLs, fulfillment networks, last-mile delivery, and supply chain optimization.

Preferred:

  • Experience with 4PL logistics models and M&A within the logistics and supply chain industry is a strong plus.
  • Master's degree

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong ability togenerate pipeline quickly, leveraging a mix of outbound efforts, partnerships, and industry connections.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and deal-closing skills.
  • Experience working withfast-growing eCommerce brands, marketplaces, and DTC companies.
  • Data-driven approach to sales forecasting, metrics, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in afast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
