Description This is a Full Time, benefitted 12 hour varied mid/evening shift at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. The role is as a RN in PreOp - PACU but you will mostly work in PACU. The shift is 1000-2230 or 0900-2130. There is weekend and on call requirement. As an RN in the Pre-Op/PACU you will be responsible for: pre-anesthesia preparation and observation and maintenance during the procedure monitoring and caring for patients are they are coming out of sedation after surgery. Qualifications Required: One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within PreOp PACU or ICU California Registered Nurse License Current BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association certifications Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
