With your leadership, aptitude for client management and marketing, and technical expertise, HDR will make a significant advancement towards achieving and maintaining that status. The Arkansas Water leader will report to the Area Water Business Group (WBG) Manager and partner with our Area Business Development Manager, Professional Services Leader, Project Delivery Leader, Client Managers, Project Managers, Business Class Leads, Market Sector Leads, and technical staff to support business development and project delivery in the Area. The Arkansas Water Leader will also be expected to engage with regional and national drinking water, wastewater, and water resources directors for strategic alignment and establishment of initiatives. The following are a summary of roles and responsibilities that are envisioned for this position.
- Client Management & Marketing: Provide leadership with strategic Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Water Resources clients in Arkansas to continue our growth in the marketplace.
- Pursuits & Proposals: Leverage client management and marketing capabilities with your technical experience and expertise to develop innovative, client-focused, and winning pursuits and proposals.
- Project Management: Serve as our trusted client-facing point of contact for our clients for delivery of their critical drinking water, wastewater, and water resources infrastructure projects.
- Technical Advisement & Quality Control: Utilize your technical skillsets, Drinking Water, Wastewater, & Water Resources, to provide essential project delivery support for the development of reports, studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications while being a key technical lead for QC reviews and engage in our national PARR review process.
- Recruitment: Leverage your current relationships and knowledge of the Arkansas market to help grow staff and capabilities for drinking water, wastewater, and water resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
