Pharmacy Billing Coordinator

Life Tree is looking for a Pharmacy Claims Adjudicator for its corporate facility in Collegeville, PA.

About Us:

Life Tree Pharmacy is a for profit subsidiary of Merakey and works with a wide range of facilities and programs to support individuals in the Behavioral Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disability communities.

About the Position:

Experience in dealing with third party insurance carriers, verbally and electronically to achieve the best possible prescription drug regime for our consumers.

1. To request follow-up and obtain prior authorizations from insurance carriers when applicable.
2. Answers incoming calls, directs to Pharmacist, when appropriate, such as new prescriptions, questions about medication, judgmental decision, etc.
3. Completes and processes third-party documents.
4. Also performs Pharmacy Technician responsibilities when deemed necessary by his/her supervisor.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Pharmacy and data entry and adjudication preferred.
• Proficient computer entry experience necessary with a good understanding of medical abbreviations and drug knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as prescriptions, Physician Order, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• To perform this job successfully and individual should have knowledge of Frameworks LTC and Docutrack.
