Primary Responsibilities: Non-Technical Building relationships with our clients in a positive meaningful way Work with a team effectively and efficiently Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Align with core values and adopt our systems and solutions Professionalism of doing "what right, is right". all the time, every time Continual self-improvement and obtaining IT certificates Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Critical thinking and analysis of looking for ways to improve processes and procedures Valid driver's license, willing to travel sometimes Adherence to Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Service Management Constant pursuit of technical improvement in all areas Some after hours are required as projects and emergencies come up Technical Assist in the configuration and deployment of network infrastructure components including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, storage solutions, virtualization solutions, and any other network devices Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability, scalability, and availability Assist in configuration and maintain network protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance and security Support and maintain technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications such as Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, DirectAccess, Terminal Services/RDS Cloud environments like Azure, AWS, & Google Cloud Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures for reference and training purposes Support for Disaster Recovery strategies including server imaging and automated offsite backups Remote access solution implementation and support (i.e., VPN, Terminal Services, & Citrix) Detailed KB documentation of customer's systems Detailed ticket documentation of time spent on service issues and projects Provide guidance, training, and technical support to junior team members and assist in their skill development Basic Qualifications: Minimum five years of architect/engineer IT experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional, friendly, positive, optimistic demeanor A strong understanding of networking technologies, solutions, troubleshooting, & support Ubiquiti, Meraki Appliances, Cisco Networking Technology, Dell, EMC and HP Storage Solutions, VMware Solutions Image based backup solutions. General Windows Desktop and Server Administration Virtual Desktop (Windows Virtual Desktop and VMware Horizons) Cloud (Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Autotask, Datto RMM, Auvik or Managed Services (MSP) experience Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
