We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Hadoop, GCP, Python, and Spark. This role involves handling sophisticated projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with cross Performance Tunning, Partitioning knowledge, target environment GCP(nice to have knowledge).

• Lead and handle end-to-end program delivery, ensuring all project turning points are met on time.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of technical solutions using Hadoop, GCP, Python, and Spark.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of various project components.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve project delivery and team performance.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
• Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track project metrics and outcomes.
• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development. Qualifications - - Possess a strong technical background in Hadoop, GCP, Python, and Spark.
• Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, with a proven record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to optimally engage with team members at all levels.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Show proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Have experience working in a hybrid work model, with the ability to lead remote and on-site teams optimally.

The annual salary for this position is between (95,500 - 109,000) depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
