Role: Tableau Admin

Location: Troy, MI.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust database solutions to support business requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of SQL databases ensuring optimal performance.
  • Guide in Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud for data visualization and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough Tableau Testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Apply ANSI SQL to write efficient and complex queries for data analysis.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database and Tableau solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all database and Tableau environments.
  • Optimize database performance through regular monitoring and tuning.
  • Provide technical support and fixing for database and Tableau-related issues.
  • Lead the integration of new data sources into existing database and Tableau systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database management and data visualization.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in database and Tableau-related tasks.
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess deep technical skills in Database and SQL Tableau Server Tableau Cloud Tableau Testing Tableau and ANSI SQL.
  • Have experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit good communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Show proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends and standard methodologies.
  • Possess a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Show experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Certifications Required: Certified Tableau Desktop Specialist Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Assoc.
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 30, 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,848 - $ 156,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
