Release Manager ServiceNow Job Description Overview We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Release Coordinator/Manager to oversee the end-to-end release process of ServiceNow updates and new features. This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will coordinate release activities with various teams to ensure seamless deployment and effective communication of changes. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain release schedules for ServiceNow updates and new features. * Coordinate release activities with development, testing, and operations teams. * Oversee the end-to-end release process, from development to deployment. * Manage and document release notes, Run Book Steps, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively to stakeholders. * Develop and maintain rollback plans in case of issues during deployment. Qualifications * Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and functionalities. * Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. * Proven experience in release management or a similar role. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Preferred Skills * Experience with ServiceNow platform and its various modules. * Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master). * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
