Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in External Scheduler PL/SQL Data Warehousing Concepts Talend Administration Centre Scheduling Basics ETL SQL Data Integration TALEND ETL and Unix Shell Scripting. This role requires working from the office during day shifts. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using TALEND ETL and other relevant technologies.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide expertise in External Scheduler and Scheduling Basics to optimize data workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data warehousing projects.
  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts to support data extraction transformation and loading processes.
  • Ensure efficient data integration and transformation using Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Manage and administer the Talend Administration Centre to ensure smooth operation of ETL processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
  • Implement best practices for data warehousing and data integration to improve system performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on ETL and data integration projects.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data integration solutions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality data solutions that support business objectives.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until April 7th 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $115-130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in External Scheduler and Scheduling Basics.
  • Must have expertise in PL/SQL and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts and ETL processes.
  • Must have experience with Talend Administration Centre and TALEND ETL.
  • Must have proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting for data integration tasks.
  • Nice to have experience in data integration and transformation using other ETL tools.
  • Nice to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to have ability to work independently and as part of a team.
