Job Description The College of Education and Human Development at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer II / Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Counselor Education Program to begin in Fall 2025. Responsibilities include some or all of the following: (a) assessment director and/or liaison for CACREP accreditation, (b) teaching graduate courses in counseling, (c) providing clinical supervision, (d) providing academic/track specific advising, (e) serving on master's and doctoral students graduate committees, (f) engaging in program-related grant writing, (g) serving as a core faculty team member, (h) participating in counselor education program service and leadership, (i) engaging in local and professional service, and (j) serving on program, department, college, and/or university level committees. Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees The University is proud to provide a reduced-rate tuition benefit to faculty and qualified dependents. Faculty can take up to six credits per semester at a reduced rate. Dependents of faculty have unlimited credits, but in order to be eligible children must be unmarried and under the age of 24 and must receive at least 50% of their financial support from the employee and/or employee's spouse or domestic partner.
