City/State Virginia Beach, VA Overview Work Shift First (Days) (United States of America) We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to lead our Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid teams. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, particularly within the Epic ecosystem, and a proven ability to manage and mentor application teams. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, supporting system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting issues for both Epic Radiant (radiology) and Epic Cupid (cardiology) modules. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid teams, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and user support. Oversee system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes for Epic modules. Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and security protocols within the Epic ecosystem. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to team members while promoting continuous improvement. Qualifications: Proven experience with Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid modules. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills. Epic certification (Radiant and/or Cupid) preferred. Experience in a healthcare IT environment. Job Summary General Information Technology work involves managing or performing work across multiple areas of an organization's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of: * IT Systems Software, Hardware, and Databases * Data & Voice Networks * Data Processing Operations * End User Technology & Software Support Conducts cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization's IT roadmap. A Manager manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include: * Ability to organize and manage projects into a program or portfolio for proper resource coordination and scope definition. * Able to leverage relationships with leaders throughout the organization to resolve conflict and issues as they arise. * Able to leverage experience to manage larger, more complex projects and programs. * Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). * Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. * Influences others outside of their own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
