Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect/Admin with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks Workspace Admin Databricks Unity Catalog Azure Key Vault Python Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Databricks solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the administration of Databricks Workspace and Unity Catalog to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide expertise in Azure Key Vault for secure management of keys and secrets.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
• Utilize Databricks SQL to create and manage complex queries and reports.
• Implement and manage Databricks Workflows to automate data pipelines.
• Apply PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Databricks solutions with other systems.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize performance of Databricks environments for efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical skills.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and processes.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Databricks Workspace Admin and Unity Catalog.
• Have expertise in Azure Key Vault for secure key management.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis.
• Show advanced skills in Databricks SQL for complex querying.
• Be experienced in implementing Databricks Workflows for automation.
• Have strong knowledge of PySpark for large-scale data analytics.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Show commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Be detail-oriented and focused on delivering high-quality results.

Certifications Required

• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
