The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks Workspace Admin Databricks Unity Catalog Azure Key Vault Python Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Databricks solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the administration of Databricks Workspace and Unity Catalog to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expertise in Azure Key Vault for secure management of keys and secrets.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
- Utilize Databricks SQL to create and manage complex queries and reports.
- Implement and manage Databricks Workflows to automate data pipelines.
- Apply PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Databricks solutions with other systems.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize performance of Databricks environments for efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and processes.
Qualifications
- Possess strong experience in Databricks Workspace Admin and Unity Catalog.
- Have expertise in Azure Key Vault for secure key management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python for data processing and analysis.
- Show advanced skills in Databricks SQL for complex querying.
- Be experienced in implementing Databricks Workflows for automation.
- Have strong knowledge of PySpark for large-scale data analytics.
- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- Show commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Be detail-oriented and focused on delivering high-quality results.
Certifications Required
- Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
