Therapist (Licensed) IOP/PHP - PRN

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

Licensed Therapist performs psychiatric social service functions, to include assessments, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning and coordination with referral sources.

Duties:

  • Performs psychosocial assessments.
  • Performs psycho-educational groups.
  • Conducts family education sessions.
  • Acts as a patient advocate.
  • Participates in the development of treatment plans.
  • Reviews and updates treatment plans as needed.
  • Initiates discharge planning upon admission and follows throughout patient stay.
  • Interacts with community agencies to establish mental health network.
  • Answers Respond Calls whenever available.
  • Performs initial mental health assessments as needed.
  • Charts every session.
  • Charges per service.
  • Participates in program development meetings.
  • Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education : Masters Degree level in human services field AND Full SC Licensure


Work experience : Minimum 3 years experience in mental health setting.
