Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Specialist Location: 15802 State Rte. 104 North Chillicothe, OH, 45601 Pay Rate: $30.00/hr. on W2 without benefits Duration: 06+ months Must Have: Must Have An LPC Or LSW License. Role & Responsibilities: This position works under clinical supervision and requires considerable knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques & is a member of a sex offender team. As a member of a sex offender team, is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders Complete screenings and assessments. Conducts group & sex offender interventions as prescribed on the individual in-program assessment using evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies within their scope of practice and as directed by supervision. Wrote reports and maintained necessary data documents to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. Enter documentation in electronic health record of all inmate encounters and contacts. Completes miscellaneous forms and reports as needed per policy and protocol. Completes transfer and discharge summaries. Consults with other institution staff regarding the sex offender caseload, inmate's institutional adjustment, and service needs. Attends meetings of sex offender program supervision. Attend in-service training and workshops for professional development.
