We are seeking a Financial Analyst, Senior to support International Programs for Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA 262) in Patuxent River, Maryland. The incumbent is responsible for supporting a USG Business Financial Manager (BFM) and an Australian Business Commercial Manager (BCM) throughout day-today financial management of all Australian contributions to the Triton Development Production and Sustainment Cooperative Program for Shared Cost and Australian Department of Defense Participant-unique Costs.

Functional Description and Position Responsibilities:



  • Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
  • Analyze budgeting and accounting reports.
  • Apply financial and budgeting knowledge and undertake objective and systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.


* Provide budget support, including coordination of budget preparation, financial performance monitoring and reporting.

* Execute funds by processing funding documents, updating related requirements records, and supporting commercial activity.

* Evaluate and interrogate financial data to ensure the accuracy of financial information in reports and systems. Take action to report and/or correct anomalies and errors.

* Negotiate sensitive financial issues with stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Qualifications: This position requires demonstrated abilities in the following areas:

* Pulling reports, entering ZSPS PRs and ZFD from Navy ERP

* Common Spend Planning Tool (CSPT)

* Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel) knowhow

* Ability to review multiple sets of data to identify patterns, errors, and anomalies. Must have demonstrated experience summarizing and reporting key messages to stakeholders.

* Ability to think critically, learn new processes, and suggest improvements to existing processes.

Education Requirements: MA/MS degree or more than ten (10) years of experience.

ALLOWABLE DEGREE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description, OR Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description, OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
