Introduction:

Join Applied Information Sciences (AIS) and lead high-impact programs that drive innovation and success. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee large-scale projects, manage interdisciplinary teams, and drive strategic initiatives to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into actionable plans while ensuring business objectives are met. You will also play a vital role in solving emerging national security challenges by delivering technology-driven solutions that support mission-critical operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams on large projects/programs or significant segments of complex initiatives.

  • Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and project plans to achieve customer acceptance.

  • Work with clients to identify business requirements and develop proposals.

  • Oversee all project/program phases, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.

  • Develop and execute strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful delivery.

  • Build and manage partnerships between customers, suppliers, and staff.

  • Analyze project/program challenges and create innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, and methodology.

  • Stay informed of customer, industry, and business trends to align project/program objectives with strategic goals.

  • Continuously seek process improvements and challenge existing procedures when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Location & Travel:

  • Must be local to the Washington, DC area as on-site work is required.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active/Current Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI and polygraph eligible holders are highly encouraged to apply.
