As technology plays an increasingly vital role in waste management operations, we're looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT professional to support, maintain, and enhance our technical systems. You'll be a key player on the Business Operations team, ensuring seamless functionality across various technology platforms.

What You'll Do:
* Provide real-time technical support for a range of systems, including PCs, iPhones, point-of-sale devices, video security, GPS, and truck scales.
* Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues without disrupting essential operations.
* Maintain and update technical documentation, inventory, and system guides.
* Train staff on computers, iPads, and phones to enhance tech proficiency.
* Serve as a liaison between Waste Management and the County IT department.
* Collaborate with vendors to optimize IT solutions.

Hiring Salary is Commensurate with Experience - We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and expertise, ensuring that your contributions are recognized and valued.

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred); four (4) years of related technical experience, ideally previous IT experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While not required, experience in any of the following areas is highly preferred: SQL Server certification, database management, Paradigm CompuWeigh 6 scale software, Elavon credit card processing, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, PLC/RTU (Programmable Logic Controllers and Remote Terminal Units), video and audio surveillance systems, survey equipment, and environmental monitoring systems. Candidates with these skills will be strongly considered.

Criminal, credit, and DMV record background checks are required. Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification).

This position requires being able to lift and/or carry up to sixty-five (65) pounds. May be required to work after hours and on weekends. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the assigned position. May be subject to call or recall 24/7. This position is considered "essential."
